Chapter 3 ROM Monitor Commands

To provide remote access to the Remote Annex 6300 ROMs:

1 From a site local to the Remote Annex 6300:

❑ Put the Remote Annex in test mode so the monitor

prompt appears on the console.

❑ Set the modem to auto-answer mode.

2 From the Remote Annex 6300 console port:

❑ At the monitor prompt, enter console-baud.

❑ At the Select Baud Rate prompt, enter the appropriate

baud rate or auto.

❑ Connect the modem to the Remote Annex’s console port.

3 From the remote site:

❑ Dial into the modem connected to the Remote Annex.

❑ Press the key until the monitor prompt appears.
